Remote control powerpoint

Afgelopen weekend opzoek gegaan naar een programma om via mijn PDA een presentatie te geven.

Onderstaande progs eens even op een rij gezet. Voor mijzelf kwam de eerste "Bluetooth remote control" er prima uit.

WLAN access op N95

Met veel moeite mijn N95 aan het wlan thuis gekregen.
Uitdaging was dat mijn wlan hidden is en wpa/psk encryptie bevat. Maar met de juiste instructies is het simpel. Helaas zie ik niet meer de exacte instructies die ik volgde, maar het was ongeveer dit:

WLAN network name: YOUR SSID
Network status: Hidden
WLAN network mode: Infrastructure
WLAN security mode: WPA/WPA2
WLAN security settings:

- Pre-shared key: YOUR KEY
- WPA2 only mode: Off
Homepage: None

No changes in "Advanced settings" (using defaults).

In addition, in the browser app (Web) settings under "General" I have "Always ask" for "Access point"

Applicaties voor de N95

Op mijn N95 nu onderstaande applicaties in gebruik:

  • Gmail
    • Website: http://gmail.com/app
    • Gmail client op je PDA installeren om nog sneller en eenvoudiger je gmail te lezen
  • Google maps
  • Nav4all

    • Omdat je graag meer mogelijkheden wilt om je locatie te bepalen en je route te vinden. Nog een programma die gebruik maakt van je N95 GPS.
  • Podcasting (of was die al standaard aanwezig?)
  • Widsets
  • Opera
    • Website: http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/
    • Als je internet gebruikt, dan is dit de beste browser die beschikbaar is.
  • Opera mini
    • Website: http://www.opera.com/products/mobile
    • Als je internet gebruikt, met een smalle verbinding (of je wilt gewoon de kale versie van website bekijken), dan is dit een handige browser. De browser haalt alleen de tekst binnen.
  • Bluetooth Remote Control - sourceforge
  • Bluetooth remote control
    • Website: http://www.blueshareware.com/index.html
    • Kost slechts 10$ en is net als bovenstaand programma bedoeld om je telefoon als remote control te gebruiken voor je PC. Dit programma heeft echter ook een interface voor Powerpoint, en is geschikt voor Nokia S60 3rd generatie telefoons. Werkt erg goed.
Zeer handig in het PDA gebruik!

Vandaag een firmware update uitgevoerd van mijn N95 speeltje. Firmware verbeteringen hieronder zichtbaar...
